Founded in 2022 by Abby Dowd, a high schooler in Georgia who is passionate about all things science,  SciKidz program primarily focuses on K-8 students and is offered at no cost, making it a valuable resource for educators and families. Abby hopes to reach students in all areas of the United States and beyond. She was fortunate enough to be exposed to highly developed and funded STEM programs that were a part of her everyday curriculum in her early education years, and now she wants to give back to other children who might not have the opportunities she had. Those experiences led her to Science Olympiad where she competed on her elementary and middle school teams and went on to meddle in multiple categories at the regional and state level while qualifying for nationals. As a high schooler, she competes with her team in the United States Biology Olympiad and has a passion for various science and medical-based clubs. As President of her high school Spanish club, she hopes to reach multilingual children as well. Upon graduation from high school, she will be attending college and majoring in Biology with a pre-med track.
